Jayne Lessard is an Experienced Coach and Leader



Jayne Lessard understands the duties and responsibilities associated with leading and guiding others. She dedicated her life to professional counseling and has maintained a strong focus on marriage and family. In 2013, Jayne Lessard celebrated 32 years of work as a counselor, with over 24 of those years spent in private practice.

As a professional counselor, Jayne Lessard is used to holding a position of trust and authority. People trust her and her wisdom and Jayne Lessard’s comfort in holding this position was built by years of leadership and coaching experience. As a college student, Jayne Lessard played college basketball and tennis at Wheaton College. She used her knowledge to coach others and worked as the women’s basketball coach at Montreat Anderson College in the 1970s. As of 2013, Jayne Lessard does executive coaching.

Coaching is also leading. Jayne Lessard has been a leader since she was a student. Once Jayne Lessard graduated school, she started work at High Point Family Service. She spent eight years with the organization and was the youngest Executive Director during her time there. While at High Point Family Service, Jayne Lessard grew the company through her leadership from a three person staff to an organization that employs over 50 working professionals today. It is an accomplishment that Jayne Lessard was proud to achieve so early in her career.

Jayne Lessard left High Point Family Service to begin work in private practice in 1989. One important factor in Jayne Lessard’s life has always been religion. Jayne Lessard is a proud Christian counselor and, in the past, has led outdoor leadership and ministry on outdoor adventure trips in Canada and North Carolina. As a counselor, Jayne Lessard also provides free counseling to missionaries and individuals performing ministry work. Jayne Lessard believes strongly in supporting those who serve “The Kingdom.”
